With Pro Caddy 2 Mac Pro owners can now have Two more Bootable hard disk or solid state drives (totaling to Six drives) in New (Nehalem) Mac Pro�s. Pro Caddy 2 Bootable storage solution frees all four hard disk drives in the Mac Pro's factory bays. Giving the freedom and convenience to use all four drives in flexible ways to boost productivity.

Use Fast (10K or 15K) 2.5" or 3.5" SATA/SAS Hard Disk or Solid State drive.
Replaces original optical bay housing.
Houses 1x 5.25� Optical drive and 2 x 2.5� or 3.5� SATA/SAS Hard Disk or Solid State drive.
Ships with custom designed Power Cable, Second Generation Halogen Free Signal cables.
Requires One open PCIe Slot.

Note:

Mac Pro Nehalem 2009 machines do not have two spare SATA ports available like previous Mac Pro models. A PCIe SATA card is needed for Two drives installed in Pro Caddy 2. Two port one lane bootable SATA PCIe Host adapter is available as an option.
