DIMM Slot Configuration
- 4 DIMMs: Use Slots 3, 5, 8,10
- 6 DIMMs: Use Slots 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12
- 8 DIMMs: Use Slots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
- 10 DIMMs: Use Slots 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12
- 12 DIMMs: Use Slots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
IMPORTANT
R-DIMM and LR- DIMM types cannot be used in the same system.
If you install LR-DIMMs of mixed capacities, your computer will not start up.
